No Walls Gardens is a Community Interest Company based in Northfleet North. Their work is centred around community gardening projects within the Northfleet area.
They provide six week courses, led by PTTLS qualified trainers, teaching gardening and landscaping skills to volunteers who include ex-offenders, disabled persons, long term unemployed and recovering addicts across all age ranges.
No Walls Gardens is not just about horticulture. They have a holistic approach to gardening and society, and they believe that by encouraging people to take pride in their environment and pride in themselves the team can bring about a real and lasting change. Their projects are planned and designed to engage with our community: to help people away from worklessness, reoffending or relapsing; to give them valuable life and work skills; to encourage them to be a part of something bigger – and to make Northfleet North a nicer place to live.
